Terms of Service (SafeProof)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SafeProof ("the App," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

SafeProof is an iOS application that analyses text messages submitted by the user for potential scam, phishing, or social engineering risk. The App returns a risk level, explanatory reasons, and optionally a suggested safe reply. Analysis is performed via a third-party AI provider (OpenAI) and the results are advisory only.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use SafeProof.
• By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement.
• If you are under 18, you should have parental or guardian consent.

4. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use SafeProof on your Apple device solely for personal, non-commercial purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicence any part of the App.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use SafeProof for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Submit content that is abusive, harassing, obscene, or that violates third-party rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App or its backend API.
• Automate or script requests to our API beyond normal individual use.
• Use the App to harass, stalk, or harm others.

6. AI Analysis — Advisory Nature

The risk scores and safe reply suggestions provided by SafeProof are generated by an AI model and are advisory only. They do not constitute professional legal, financial, or security advice. Always use your own judgement when deciding how to respond to a message. We are not liable for any decisions you make based on the App's output.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, and code within SafeProof are owned by DomCreator / domcreator.co.uk or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

8. Third-Party Services

SafeProof uses OpenAI's API to process analysis requests. By using the App, you acknowledge that your submitted text is processed by OpenAI and that their Terms of Use apply to that processing. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

SafeProof is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that analysis results will be accurate in all cases. Scam detection is probabilistic — no system catches every threat.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DomCreator / domcreator.co.uk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use SafeProof, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Privacy

Your use of SafeProof is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

12. Modifications to the Service or Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue SafeProof at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to SafeProof at our sole discretion if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
