Terms of Service (Slim Goal)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Slim Goal ("the App," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Slim Goal is an iOS application that helps users track their weight loss journey. It allows you to log weight and waist measurements, set a goal weight, view progress charts, earn milestones, add progress photos, track a daily logging streak, and sync with Apple HealthKit. The App is available in a free (ad-supported) tier and a Pro subscription tier.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Slim Goal.
• By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement.
• If you are under 18, you should have parental or guardian consent.

4. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Slim Goal on your Apple device solely for personal, non-commercial purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicence any part of the App.

5. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

• Free Tier: The App is free to download and use with advertising shown via Google AdMob.
• Slim Goal Pro: A paid subscription that removes ads and unlocks additional features. Subscriptions are managed by Apple through the App Store.
• Billing: Subscription fees are charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: All refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their App Store policies.
• Free Trials: Where offered, free trials convert automatically to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Slim Goal for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App or its backend systems.
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality.
• Share milestone cards or progress photos in a way that violates third-party rights or applicable laws.

7. Health Disclaimer

Slim Goal is a personal tracking tool only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Weight loss data, BMI calculations, and goal projections shown in the App are informational only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any diet, exercise, or weight loss programme. We are not liable for any health decisions made based on data shown in the App.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, and code within Slim Goal are owned by DomCreator / domcreator.co.uk or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. Data you enter into the App (weight entries, photos) remains yours.

9. Third-Party Services

Slim Goal integrates with Google AdMob (advertising on free tier) and Apple HealthKit (optional weight sync). By using the App, you acknowledge that these services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Slim Goal is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that goal projections or milestone calculations will be accurate in all cases. Use of the App is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DomCreator / domcreator.co.uk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Slim Goal, including any loss of data resulting from deletion of the App or device failure.

12. Privacy

Your use of Slim Goal is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

13. Modifications to the Service or Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue Slim Goal at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Slim Goal at our sole discretion if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Uninstalling permanently removes all locally stored data.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
