The UK Driving Theory Test app (“the App”) is an independent Android application for practising UK driving theory test questions. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App may collect, how it is used, and your rights. The App is not affiliated with DVSA or GOV.UK.

• No account required. You do not need to register or log in to use the App.
• Local data only. Your practice progress, scores, and settings are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
• No personal data collected directly. The App does not ask for your name, email address, location, or other personal identifiers.

3. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party SDKs that collect certain data automatically:

• Google Play Services. The App is distributed via Google Play. Google may collect crash reports, performance data, and anonymous usage statistics as per Google’s own Privacy Policy.
• Analytics. We may use anonymised, aggregated analytics to understand how the App is used in order to improve it. No personally identifiable information is included.

4. Permissions

The App requests only the permissions necessary for its core functionality. It does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, or location.

All data stored by the App (practice history, scores) is held locally on your device. Uninstalling the App will remove this data. We do not retain any personal data on our servers.

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
